The many adventures of our little family continue. Christmas was wonderful. Dave and I took turns going to family gatherings while the other stayed home with Emma. It was a little bit sad to keep splitting up over Christmas, but well worth it. Triston is the lucky one, he went to all the parties. Triston got a Lego set that contains over 900 pieces, good thing he has an in with Santa, Mom would never buy any toy with that many pieces! He loves first grade and is getting so big we can hardly stand it. When he says he has the "Hickies" that means he has the hick-ups!
Emma is smiling and cooing at us, we are totally smitten. She is 10 pounds 7 Ounces and continues to thrive. The little stinker is already rolling over from her back to her side. She is a cuddler and we love every moment. Emma had an appointment with the cardiologist on Monday and her two month check up on Tuesday. Everything was great news, she is expected to have a good outcome from the surgery. Her oxygen levels are always high and developmentally she is either right on or ahead for everything she is supposed to be doing. So life here goes on. We are being extremely careful, she will not be going anywhere except the doctors offices until RSV and Flu are gone for the season.
I forgot how much babies leak, the laundry pile is never ending these days! Since I am inside all the time, I have taken to keeping up with everyone either over the phone or online. Feel free to call me or drop me a line!
We hope you all have a wonderful New Year!
